Accreditation and Awards

Monks Security Systems has obtained a range of accreditations and awards, including NSI Gold recognition for Intruder Alarms, BAFE approval for fire alarm design, installation, verification, and maintenance, and accreditation to BS 5839-1:2017 for Fire Alarm Systems. We are also members of the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) and the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).

Maintenance and Monitoring

As an NSI Gold member, we ensure that all our engineers are stringently security cleared, and each engineer completes DBS checks. Our engineers adhere to the following British Standards: BS 5839-1:2017 for Fire Alarm Systems, BS 5266-1:2016 for Emergency Lighting Systems, BS EN 50131/ BS8243 PD6662 2010 for Intruder Alarm Systems, BS EN50133 for Access Control Systems, and BS 7958:2015 for CCTV Systems. We also operate to the same standards in our administration, ensuring a high level of professionalism and workmanship in all aspects of our work.
