Our journey began with Alfred Bernard Rooms, who set up a whitesmith, blacksmith and locksmith business in Hull, and was later joined by his son. The advent of World War II led to significant advancements in manufacturing and engineering, which paved the way for the company's expansion into security systems and locks when Colin Rooms joined the business in 1963. Today, under the leadership of David Rooms, the great-grandson of the founder, the company has become a highly resourced and resourceful enterprise, specialising in new product development and adhering to legal and health & safety demands within the industry.
